PHYSICS

 What is Physics?

Let us dive into the question.

I know many  of us have studied physics in school or college but I can assure you that many of us has not felt what Physics is.

But those who had got the taste of physics, fell in love with it.

All the phenomenon that we see or experience it is nature's power and beauty and to understand that humans have created a language "Physics".

The name Physics came from Latin word "Physica" which means "study of nature".

Let us take a example. All of you have seen the above series of colors at least once in your life time ,right? Have you wondered how is this created? NO!!

No big deal, its happens mainly because of two reason, firstly because of dispersion. Sunlight is composed of a spectrum of different wavelengths. As the sunlight enters the droplet present in the atmosphere, it refracts due to difference in optical density between water and air . The refracted ray get dispersed.

Secondly, the refracted ray inside the droplet suffers Total Internal Reflection because of greater angle of reflection than the critical angle. Get a chance to know more about rainbow

That's easy right.

Wait that's not how nature is. Nature is not always simple like rainbow. Nature always surprise us with new  things when ever we try to understand it more.

That's is why you will find contradicting theory, outdated laws, Old laws are replaced by new ones, process continues.

The world has witnessed many intelligent physicists like Issac Newton, Albert Einstein, Meghnad Saha, Sir CV Raman etc.
